Beresford
Born: June 6, 1949
Hometown: Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada
After owning
and operating a successful business, Beresford began racing later
than most drivers. Starting in 2001, Beresford first got behind the
wheel, driving a Formula Vee in CASC Ontario Regional competition.
Following a test in a Formula Continental car, Beresford bought a FC
car and contested the
entire CASC Ontario Regional Formula Libre Championship with Brian
Graham Racing. Impressed with the new Formula Ford Zetec package,
Beresford purchased a car prior to the 2003 season to run in the
Formula Libre Championship. The following year, Beresford once again
contested the entire CASC Ontario Region Formula Libre Championship, as
well as selected SCCA Club Racing events in the United States. In
Formula Libre competition, Beresford drove a Formula Ford Zetec car
until late August, when he purchased a new Star Mazda car and began
racing it. Winning one race, Beresford finished second in the
championship. Over the past two seasons the Kitchener-Waterloo
native has continued to race in the CASC Ontario
Region Formula Libre Championship winning several numerous races and
capturing one championship title. This coming season, Beresford will
commence a new motorsports challenge, driving a Van Diemen RF00 FF1600
in the highly competitive Ontario Formula Ford Challenge.

Allan
Craighead
Born: May 26, 1970
Hometown: Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Craighead has
been involved in motorsports virtually his entire life. As
the son of a regional Formula Ford driver and course worker, Craighead
attended his first race before he could walk.
Spending much of the early stages of his young life watching his father
race and attending premier racing events, it came as little surprise he
got the
racing bug. Upon graduating from Laurentian University in Sudbury,
Ont., with a Sports Administration degree, the Toronto native
immediately began pursuing career in motorsports. Using the earnings
from his first job
in the sport (managing an Indy Pro Series showcar program) Craighead
attended
the prestigious Jim Russell Racing School in Mt. Tremblant, Que.,
earning his race license, and purchased a Formula Ford. The life long
race fan, proceeded to run in
selected CASC-OR events. After two years of competition, Craighead
stopped racing due to financial restraints and work commitments
abroad. Currently the Assistant Editor of FormulaCar Magazine and News
Desk Manager of eFormulaCarNews.com, Craighead will get back behind the
wheel in 2007,
running selected races in the Diamond class of the
Ontario Formula Ford challenge in a recently purchased Lola T-540.
