Greg Beresford

Born: June 6, 1949
Hometown: Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

After owning and operating a successful business, Beresford began racing later than most drivers. Starting in 2001, Beresford first got behind the wheel, driving a Formula Vee in CASC Ontario Regional competition. Following a test in a Formula Continental car, Beresford bought a FC car and contested the entire CASC Ontario Regional Formula Libre Championship with Brian Graham Racing. Impressed with the new Formula Ford Zetec package, Beresford purchased a car prior to the 2003 season to run in the Formula Libre Championship. The following year, Beresford once again contested the entire CASC Ontario Region Formula Libre Championship, as well as selected SCCA Club Racing events in the United States. In Formula Libre competition, Beresford drove a Formula Ford Zetec car until late August, when he purchased a new Star Mazda car and began racing it. Winning one race, Beresford finished second in the championship. Over the past two seasons the Kitchener-Waterloo native has continued to race in the CASC Ontario Region Formula Libre Championship winning several numerous races and capturing one championship title. This coming season, Beresford will commence a new motorsports challenge, driving a Van Diemen RF00 FF1600 in the highly competitive Ontario Formula Ford Challenge.

Allan Craighead

Born: May 26, 1970
Hometown: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Craighead has been involved in motorsports virtually his entire life. As the son of a regional Formula Ford driver and course worker, Craighead attended his first race before he could walk. Spending much of the early stages of his young life watching his father race and attending premier racing events, it came as little surprise he got the racing bug. Upon graduating from Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ont., with a Sports Administration degree, the Toronto native immediately began pursuing career in motorsports. Using the earnings from his first job in the sport (managing an Indy Pro Series showcar program) Craighead attended the prestigious Jim Russell Racing School in Mt. Tremblant, Que., earning his race license, and purchased a Formula Ford. The life long race fan, proceeded to run in selected CASC-OR events. After two years of competition, Craighead stopped racing due to financial restraints and work commitments abroad. Currently the Assistant Editor of FormulaCar Magazine and News Desk Manager of eFormulaCarNews.com, Craighead will get back behind the wheel in 2007, running selected races in the Diamond class of the Ontario Formula Ford challenge in a recently purchased Lola T-540.

Ivan Graham

Born: January 16, 1943
Hometown: Barrie, Ontario, Canada

Graham, who was born in Ireland, began his involvement motorsports, when he moved to Canada. Mechanically inclined, the native of Barrie soon showed great skill behind the wheel of a race car. Competing in CASC regional competition with various sports cars to begin with, Graham found success, before switching to the Formula Ford class in the mid 1970's. Racing in both regional amateur events, as well as the Canadian Formula Ford Championship over the past 30 years, he has won numerous races. In 1991 and 1994 Graham captured the CASC-OR Formula Ford Championship title. Involved in the Ontario Formula Ford Challenge since its inception, Graham will race in the Diamond class in 2007 with a newly purchased Reynard 84FF.

Kyle Marcelli

Born: February 23, 1990
Hometown: Barrie, Ontario, Canada

Commencing his racing career at the age of 12 in a kart, Marcelli immediately showed he had the skill and speed to win. Improving every time he got behind the wheel, the youngster quickly became one of the drivers to beat. Racing shifter karts the past few years, Marcelli has won numerous races, including the prestigious Barrie Grand Prix and finished as the runner-up in the Ron Fellows Karting Championship in in the 80cc class and third in the same championship in the 125cc class. In 2006, the young driver from Barrie made the move up to cars. Last year, as a member of the prestigious Team Ultra 94 squad, Marcelli finished second in the Bridgestone F2000 Racing Series. In addition to racing in the school series, the talented teenager won a Skip Barber Regional race at the famed Sebring International Raceway and took part in the Formula BMW International licensing course. Marcelli will continue his progress up the motorsports ladder this coming season, contesting the entire Ontario Formula Ford Challenge behind the wheel of a Van Diemen RF01, as well as running selected races in the highly competitive F2000 Championship Series.

Brian Graham

Born: August 8, 1963
Hometown: Barrie, Ontario, Canada

Growing up around racing, Graham first got behind the wheel at young age. Competing in karts for several years, he showed a natural talent behind the wheel, winning the Ontario Jr. Championship. In 1986, Graham made his car racing debut, quickly establishing himself as driver worth watching. The Barrie native driving in the Formula Ford class captured the Rookie of the Year award and was named Best New Driver in his first season of CASC-OR competition. Over the next decade Graham continued to race Formula Fords, winning numerous races both at CASC Regional and SCCA National events. Graham, having won several CASC Regional Championship, also began contesting numerous rounds in the Canadian Formula Ford Championship. In the late 1990's Graham began racing a Formula Continental car in both the CASC and SCCA. Once again winning several races, Graham captured the CASC Regional Championship in the Formula Libre class. Over the past several years, Graham has continued to race a Formula Ford 1600, as well as a Formula Ford Zetec with good success, while continuing to establish Brian Graham Racing as a leading open-wheel team. This coming season the team owner will run in selected races as time permits.

Graham owns and operates the team. In addition he performs data acquisition and acts as the team driver coach.

• Adam Pitts(Lead Mechanic)
Pitts acts as the lead mechanic on Marcelli's Van Diemen, additionally working on the other cars under the BGR awning.

• Ken Robins (Lead Mechanic)
Robins works as the lead mechanic on Beresford's Van Diemen, while also assiting with Craighead's Lola.

• Marc Collard (Second Mechanic)
Assists the lead mechanics in preparing all the BGR cars.

• Paul Laurence (Second Mechanic)
Works with the lead mechanics in preparing the BGR cars.

• Tess Haanstra (Office & Hospitality Manager)
Hannstra acts as the office adminstrator for BGR and operates the hospitality at the events.

• Al Craighead (Publicist)
Craighead handles all the media relations for Brian Graham Racing, as well as updates and maintains the team website.
